Like Bronson Reed, Karrion Kross has been backstage for several tapings of RAW and SmackDown since the most recent round of WWE releases and has taken part in dark matches and even a match on WWE Main Event.

However, unlike Bronson Reed, Karrion Kross, who is the current NXT Champion, has not dropped his title belt, so his callup to the main roster seems less clear cut. Although, WWE has had the NXT Champions appear on the main roster and NXT previously.

Kross looks set to be taking on Johnny Gargano at NXT's next big show, The Great American Bash later this week, and although nothing has been made official yet, it's likely it's going to be an NXT Title match. The result of that possible match will be very telling.

If Gargano somehow topples Kross then we can probably expect him to move to RAW or SmackDown, but even if he doesn't take the title off of the unpinned champion, there's every indication that Kross could still be showing up on the main roster.
