#4 The Velveteen Dream could appear at Royal Rumble
Velveteen Dream, like the rest of the world, also had a strange 2020. He went from the NXT title picture to off of TV to back on TV to off of it once more. Dream had been feuding with Adam Cole, but the Undisputed Era turned face in 2020.
Dream also battled Kushida but was away from the company for reasons outside of pro wrestling. It seems like he's been in NXT forever and that is somewhat true. Could a Royal Rumble appearance potentially lead to a move to the main roster?
Wrestlers like Velveteen Dream come ready-made for the main roster, while others need time to learn and/or season different facets of their game. Since he's been prominently featured in NXT over the years, it makes sense that this could be the year he shows up in the Royal Rumble. The likes of Gargano, Cole, Pete Dunne, and some others have already made appearances in the Royal Rumble.
The Dream's inclusion would be a shock but also a sign of moving forward in 2021 and beyond.
