Ricochet could steal the show at WM35!

There is a ton of great talent currently under the WWE umbrella. In fact, some may argue that between NXT and the two main rosters, there is more quality talent employed by WWE now, than ever before. We are currently witnessing an era in which stars are signing with the company, that we would have previously never thought would have even contemplated making the move to a WWE roster.

NXT started out in most fans minds as nothing more than a simple developmental brand. It was thought to be just a refurbished model of former WWE Developmental brand, FCW. However, things didn't quite turn out that simple. In fact, NXT would grow into something that could not only sustain itself, but it would essentially grow into pro wrestling juggernaut.

As we look at the current active NXT roster, it's easy to see how many of those guys and gals are soon to be main roster superstars. With that thought in mind, today we take a look at 5 NXT Superstars that will definitely be competing at Wrestlemania 35 next year in NY/NJ.

Beginning with number 5, here's our list of 5 NXT Superstars that you will certainly see at Wrestlemania 35!

#5 War Raiders

Hanson and Rowe are taking over NXT's tag division.

Hanson and Rowe came together about 4 years ago after competing against one another in the annual Ring of Honor Top Prospect Tournament. They met in the finals, where Hanson ended up coming out on top and winning the tournament. It was then that ROH officials knew these modern-day Vikings were destined to be partners.

Since teaming up originally as War Machine, Hanson and Rowe have dominated everywhere they've landed, from Ring of Honor-to-New Japan Pro Wrestling and everywhere in between.

The War Raiders have come onto the NXT scene and ran through everyone who has been placed into their path. You can expect Hanson and Rowe to get called up to the main roster very soon. These guys have too much talent to just wait in the wings. The War Raiders could join the Smackdown Live or the RAW roster and become immediate title contenders.

#4 Shayna Baszler

She's ready for anyone...

There are touch chic's, then there's Shayna Baszler. As a member of the infamous 4-Horsewomen, Shayna stands alongside another tough lady that you may have heard of- Ronda Rousey. Baszler hopes to join her partner on the main roster in the near future, but she has a little title business to take care of first.

Baszler was a huge part of Wrestlemania 34 weekend as she defeated Ember Moon at NXT Takeover: New Orleans, thus capturing the NXT Women's Championship. Since then, Shayna has not looked back, running straight through the heart of the NXT Women's Division and making it look relatively easy.

The NXT roster is still stocked full of quality talent, which will ease the burden of finding someone to drop the Women's title onto. It is also worth mentioning that Shayna will turn 38-years old this August, which also pushes the accelerator a little as well. If Shayna is destined to have a Wrestlemania moment, it's going to have to happen sooner, rather than later.

#3 Adam Cole

It's Adam Cole bay-bay!

Prior to signing his WWE contract, Adam Cole was on a very short list of dream signees for the company. Having had major success with every promotion he's ever spent time with, Cole was definitely one of the top non-WWE stars in the world, prior to making his way into the fold.

Since his NXT debut, he and fellow ROH alumni Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong have seemingly taken complete control of Team Yellow. However, I do not believe they will all get elevated together, onto the main roster. It could happen, but I have a feeling the other guys will be needed more in Orlando, rather than on the road with RAW or Smackdown Live.

#2 EC3

The cream of the crop...

A lot has changed since EC3's first run through the WWE developmental system. Not only has he gotten a lot better as a performer, but the competition which he is working with now is among some of the very best professional wrestlers on the planet. Regardless of the current climate in NXT, EC3 is as good, or better than anyone he could possibly face on the yellow squad.

With EC3's recent experience and success with Impact Wrestling, he is more than capable of holding his own on the biggest stage, which is Wrestlemania. Considering how fast things are moving under the WWE banner at the moment, I would not be a bit surprised to see EC3 get called up much sooner than many fans anticipate and yes, EC3 will be more than ready to showcase his skills on the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania 35.

#1 Ricochet

Could this be the best signee since the birth of NXT?

He's the pride of Paducah, Kentucky and he's the one who is responsible for breaking Tessa Blanchard's heart... Okay, so maybe we don't know all of the details on his breakup with popular women's wrestler Tessa Blanchard, but I'm sure the fine folks in Kentucky are awfully proud of their native son.

Ricochet truly broke through the independent wrestling scene back in the early 2000's as a top star for Chikara. Since then, this guy has been on an absolute tear. Known for producing 5-star quality matches, Ricochet has brought his exciting brand of high-flying, magical in-ring performances with him to NXT and while NXT is one of the hottest brands in all of wrestling today, there is still a ceiling within the Yellow Brand which Ricochet will burst through in a matter of no time. With that said, no one really expects his stay in Orlando to be lengthy. There are some big-time feuds and World Championships that await him at the next level, which just so happens to be the highest level...the WWE main roster.
