Wrestlemania is just around the corner, and the one thing that always excites fans for WrestleMania is the surprises it holds.
Here, we will take a look at 5 NXT Superstars who could possibly make their debut for the main roster at the Grand Stage.
#5 Adam Cole enters the Battle Royal
One of the brightest shining stars in NXT today, it highly possible that Cole makes his WrestleMania debut at Wrestlemania 34 participating in, and quite possibly winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Adam Cole (Baybay!) made his debut on NXT in August of 2017. He had already made quite a name for himself before coming to WWE as he had formerly worked with major promotions such as NJPW, ROH and PWG.
Even though small in size, Cole makes up with his astounding in-ring skills and sharp performances on the mic. He is touted to be a success on the main roster and what better way to start that journey than getting a win at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
#4 Eric Young and Sanity join Matt Hardy
A former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Young, made his debut for NXT in 2016. He made his mark in NXT as part of the stable called Sanity along with Alexander Wolfe, Big Damo and Nikki Cross and the faction has gone on to win the NXT Tag Team Championships once.
The faction has great potential and it is just a matter of time before they debut on the main roster.
With similarities in character with that of "Woken" Matt Hardy, an interesting way to bring them up would be by helping Hardy win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at Wrestlemania and joining hands with the Woken Warrior to become an even more dominant faction in WWE.
#3 Lars Sullivan teams up with Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman might be WWE's Monster Among Men, but NXT have their own version of a monster in Lars Sullivan. Sullivan has been on a warpath as of late and even though he was out with injury for a few weeks, he will be participating in the NXT TakeOver: New Orleans ladder match for the newly minted North-American Championship.
Since Braun has still not revealed who is going to be his partner against The Bar at Wrestlemania, it is very much possible that the WWE decide to make Sullivan his tag team partner and establish a dominant tag team with these two monsters. This would be a great debut for Lars and would immediately establish him as a force to be reckoned with.
#2 Johny Gargano confronts the new Cruiserweight Champion
Johny Gargano, better known as Johny Wrestling will be in the fight of his life at NXT Takeover: New Orleans when he faces his former best friend turned foe in Tommaso Ciampa, in a non-sanctioned match. Gargano had previously lost a match to Andrade Almas wherein he would have to leave NXT if he lost, and hence is no longer a part of the NXT roster.
So, it is very much possible that Gargano will have his "last match" in NXT at TakeOver and move to the main roster on the very next night.
It is likely that Gargano will end up on the 205 live roster given his size and weight class. So, it would be a great moment if Gargano comes out after the match between Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander for the CW Championship and challenge the winner for this newly won belt.
#1 The Authors of Pain attack the RAW Tag Team Champions
Easily one of the most dominant Tag Teams to have come in the last few years, The AoP have gone through the entire NXT Tag Team Division and are also former Tag Team Champions in NXT. They will be facing Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne at TakeOver: New Orleans and Undisputed Era for the Tag Team Championships as well as the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic cup.
Managed by Paul Ellering, AoP has been long overdue for a call-up to the main roster and it is high time WWE go ahead with it.
This monstrous team could show up right after the RAW Tag Team Championship match gets over and attack the winners of the match regardless of whether it is The Bar or Braun and his partner(which is more likely).
