Johnny Gargano is now considered the best in-ring performer in the WWE. Following Gargano's NXT career is really quite simple. He's charismatic, he boasts excellent in-ring ability and a unique move set.

He's something of the every-man wrestler - not overly big, not plucked from a GQ cover and no flashy gimmick to get himself over. In his own words, he's all heart. In my words, he could wrestle a bookcase to a five-star match.

Gargano made his professional wrestling debut for Cleveland All–Pro Wrestling in 2005. Since then, he has worked in various promotions. Finally he has arrived on NXT and has put on multiple 5 star matches since his NXT debut.

His long lasting rivalry with Tommaso Ciampa is considered as the best NXT rivalry till date. While Ciampa can be the face of NXT as the NXT Champion, it is the best time for Gargano's main roster debut.
