Yes, Matt Riddle is an NXT Superstar, but we would be remiss if we didn't mention him, especially after all of his outspoken antics regarding Goldberg. Riddle live-tweeted during Goldberg's match against The Undertaker at last year's Super ShowDown, trolling the WWE Hall of Famer for his lacklustre performance on the night.
The two had a small interaction in person, backstage at SummerSlam, and it was a bit awkward, to say the least. The chances of this match happening are pretty slim, with Goldberg possibly feeling disrespected by the King of Bros. Also, the reported interaction that Riddle had with Brock Lesnar does not bode well for his current chances against these legends that he has been calling out.
Nevertheless, Goldberg vs Riddle should happen at some point in the future if they can work things out. And while SmackDown could really do with the infusion of an intense reality-based feud, Matt Riddle has his own thing going in NXT, as the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Classic winner alongside Pete Dunne.
