WWE TLC 2017: 5 perfect decisions made at TLC

TLC produced unimaginable moments!
TLC produced unimaginable moments!

WWE TLC is in the rear-view now and looking back at the PPV, it was an excellent show that lived up to the hype. Initially expected to be just a one-match spectacle, TLC gave the fans their money's worth by having decent action overall this past Sunday night.

WWE's booking decisions have been questioned time and again by the critics and fans alike, but WWE made sure that TLC was not another reason for fans to criticize.

TLC saw the arrival of Asuka, the undefeated warrior in WWE, a dream match between former Bullet Club leaders AJ Styles and Finn Balor, and the return of the Olympic hero, Kurt Angle. We list down the best decisions WWE made on the PPV and how they will affect the things going ahead in the lead-up to Survivor Series

# 5 Braun Strowman turns face

The Monsters will battle soon
The Monsters will battle soon

One of the best superstars of 2017 in WWE has been Braun Strowman, who is the only superstar in WWE to boast of a better head-to-head record against the Big Dog, Roman Reigns.

During his rivalry with Reigns, Braun has been cheered consistently in spite of being a heel. His actions have brought "joy" to the WWE Universe, and at TLC, it seems WWE has finally decided to turn the Monster Among Men a babyface.

Strowman can lead the charge on his own and become a great babyface, as he has all the tools to get the WWE Universe invested in him. WWE should make sure that his persona doesn't get too altered due to this turn and let him remain the human wrecking machine.

# 4 Enzo Amore: Realest champ in the room

Enzo Amore's championship victory over Neville perplexed the WWE Universe. He went from being murdered every week on RAW to being the champion of a division. His win was a questionable decision, but his promos have lit up the WWE Universe.

Kalisto defeated Amore but couldn't become a champion in the vein of G. Enzo's charisma and talent on the mic are unmatched in WWE currently. This has drawn several comparisons to superstars like Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Enzo winning the title back was a sensible move on WWE's part, and if they are interested in making 205 Live a significant part of their programming, Enzo as a champion is the perfect way to go about it.

# 3 The Demon conquers the Phenomenal One

No cease and desist this time.!
No cease and desist this time.!

WWE hosted a dream match in the form of AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor, without any build-up, two days before the PPV. This decision was overshadowed by the excitement this news brought toWWE Universe.

Finn Balor and AJ Styles are two of the most outstanding wrestlers in the sports entertainment industry for years now, and their paths met for the first time at TLC PPV. Both the wrestlers gave their best performances and didn't disappoint the crowd.

The too-sweet gesture at the end was a delight for the fans, and the decision to let Balor get some momentum with a win over the former WWE champion was a splendid choice.

# 2 Dominance of The Empress continues

The Empress of Tomorrow is here

Asuka debuted in WWE's developmental program, NXT, in 2015, and since then has brought destruction upon the women's division of WWE. She defeated Bayley to win the NXT Women's title and held it for over 500 days without getting pinned or submitted.

Asuka's main-roster arrival was given the proper hype and her match with Emma did not disappoint a single bit. Emma is an underutilized talent on the main roster, and the decision to let her be Asuka's first victim was a wise one, as it led to both the women coming out of the match looking strong.

Asuka needs to be given the superhuman booking she received in NXT, and WWE must continue to harness her potential in the best way.

# 1 A perfect TLC match

Is it 2002?
Is it 2002?

The main event between the Shield featuring honourary member Kurt Angle and the Bar, Miz, and Kane was all sorts of crazy. WWE made a brilliant decision to let the match become an all-out brawl, bringing back the memories of Attitude Era.

Kurt Angle's minor yet significant involvement in the match was a moment of joy for the fans, as the veteran's return to the ring was highly anticipated for months. The current RAW GM is not the wrestler he used to be years ago, but his signature Angle Slam and German Suplexes were the perfect nostalgia for the fans.

This match featured all kinds of brutal spots with the eight wrestlers involved doing their best to make the TLC match worthwhile. Sports Entertainment reigned supreme at the end of the day, with a lot of broken tables, ladders, and chairs.
