Ever since Brock Lesnar won the Money in the Bank contract in the Ladder Match, which was a very controversial decision to say the least, his cash-in has been hyped to the utmost level.
He, according to kayfabe, was supposed to cash it in a long time ago with Paul Heyman constantly being in the ears of everyone hyping about it. In a weekly episode of WWE RAW, Lesnar walked out of the arena after he realized that he had a year to cash in his contract, making fans wonder as to whether his cashing in would be long and arduous affair.
That feeling became more prevalent after Lesnar brutalized Rollins on RAW before Super Showdown but didn’t cash in because he intended to do so at Super Showdown itself.
At the PPV itself, Rollins got the better of him and Lesnar couldn’t cash in. More waiting.
