Is it finally time for The Golden Role Models to implode?

WWE has been hinting towards a fallout between Sasha Banks and Bayley for some time now. Are we going to get a dispute over the SmackDown Women's Championship sooner rather than later?

Currently, the duo is still WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. However, the brief reign of Banks as the RAW Women's Champion ended at SummerSlam, where Bayley refused to help her supposed friend despite her screaming out for it.

There have been subtle nods to the pair imploding for some time now. The WWE Universe got their biggest pointers towards this over the past week. The pair bickered over who would face Asuka first at SummerSlam, Sasha Banks paid homage to her and Bayley's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn classic with her SummerSlam ring gear while The Role Model didn't. The same weekend, Bayley didn't return the favor when Banks helped her defeat Asuka at the PPV.

During their previous rivalries, Banks and Bayley have worked together to put on some incredible matches. The prospect of seeing the pair square off for the SmackDown Women's Championship is definitely something for fans to look forward to.
