It's rare that you'll find a professional wrestling fan who enjoys a disqualification finish, which is one of the many reasons why it'd be extremely frustrating to see this go down on Sunday. Asuka is clearly superior to Carmella from a wrestling standpoint, so perhaps the only way she can escape with her title is by having The IIconics do her dirty work by getting her DQ'd.
It'd likely lead to another match at SummerSlam, where Asuka can finally win the championship. It obviously isn't ideal and we'd prefer to see them go down a different route, but if they're that invested in the idea of protecting Carmella, it could be their safest bet.
