Finn Balor is undoubtedly one of the most over WWE superstars among the fans.He is the first ever Universal Champion and the leader of the faction, The Balor Club. Balor was directionless during most of 2017 after returning from injury. A feud with Bray Wyatt was detrimental for both of them. Then, after having an amazing match with AJ Styles, he went on to lose against Kane and have a mini-feud with The Miztourage.

He rejuvenated himself by becoming the Iron Man at the Royal Rumble and is now expected to be added in the last spot of the Elimination Chamber. He reunited himself with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, reforming The Balor Club and now looks stronger than ever.

So, having said that, who may be facing Finn Balor at WrestleMania 34?

#5 Brock Lesnar

Finn Balor may prove to be a much bigger challenge to Brock than expected

We all know that the match for the Universal Title will 99% be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar.

However, throughout the years, it has been proven that in WWE, anything is possible. It's possible that Vince changes his mind at the last moment, maybe Reigns gets injured (I sincerely hope not. For a wrestler to have an injury is horrible, no matter how booed or cheered he may get, so I do not wish for that to happen at all), or the match for the Universal Title may become a Triple Threat with Reigns in it as well.

Balor never truly lost the Universal Title, so he is owed a rematch, something he never received to date. The match was first rumoured to take place at Survivor Series 2017, and later on at Royal Rumble 2018. Instead, Lesnar fought AJ Styles at the former and then defended his title in a Triple Threat against Braun Strowman and Kane at the latter.

With Anderson and Gallows by his side, Balor can unveil 'The Demon' and prove to be Lesnar`s toughest challenge. If Vince decides to make this match at WrestleMania, it'll be nothing less than breathtaking.

#4 The New Day

The New Day may enter yet another inter-brand war

On January 1st, Balor aligned with his former partners from Japan to bring back The Balor Club, something that will surely take Balor on the right path. Finn now looks like the man he was before his injury at SummerSlam 2016 and Gallows and Anderson look better than ever.

The New Day had a clash for the ages when they battled The Shield at Survivor Series 2016. Since then, however, they have done almost nothing on SmackDown Live. It may be time for them to face yet another incredibly dominant trio.

Additionally, New Day already have a history with Gallows and Anderson, as the two tag teams feuded through the summer of 2016. Now, they can fight each other again, but this time at a much bigger stage. This is also a golden opportunity to turn The Balor Club heel and let them run through everyone.

#3 Seth Rollins

Could we see The Demon vs The Architect once more?

At SummerSlam 2016, Finn Balor faced Seth Rollins in order to become the first ever Universal Champion. Unleashing 'The Demon' for the first time on the main roster, Balor proved to be too much for Rollins and in the end, Balor stood tall with the title in hand. However, he was struck with a very unfortunate injury that kept him off the lines for quite some time.

The two were separated until they clashed at Raw last month. A great match unfolded before our eyes. At one point in the match, Balor had Rollins pinned as the referee counted three. The decision was never announced, though, and the match continued and descended into chaos as Gallows and Anderson, The Bar, and Jason Jordan interfered. Eventually, Jordan tripped Balor, allowing Rollins to win with the Blackout (formerly known as the Curb Stomp), which means both of them have a win against each other.

Rollins is now completely without options, as Dean Ambrose and Jason Jordan are injured and unable to compete at WrestleMania 34, and a match against Kurt Angle seems like quite a long shot. That`s why it may be good for both sides to have a third final battle at WrestleMania 34.

#2 Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe is still the only man that has defeated Balor in his Demon persona. At NXT, the two superstars had one of the best feuds, with matches that stole the show. Each of their matches was a sight to behold and is obvious that if given the chance, they can produce the match of the night at WrestleMania 34.

Joe is set to return in March and a revisit of their feud may be the best thing for both men. Balor can bring back 'The Demon' and he can either get his revenge against Joe, or Joe can repeat history by beating 'The Demon' for the second time.

#1 The Miz

Finn Balor Vs The A-Lister
The A-Lister vs Finn Balor

This seems to be the likeliest possible match for Finn, as there are many rumours making rounds. Balor and Miz first crossed paths at Payback 2017, when Balor was a special guest on MizTV. There, Miz mocked and angered Finn, who responded by taking him down with a Sling Blade. If we are to trust the rumours, we are set to witness Balor attempt to take the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz.

The Miz won`t be able to use The Miztourage as an advantage to cheat his way to victory because Balor will have Gallows and Anderson by his side to counter them. With that, Balor can have a fair match against The Miz and a chance to once again hold a title.

If Balor takes the last spot in the Elimination Chamber, the PPV looks like the perfect opportunity to begin their feud. Balor can pin Miz inside the steel chamber and infuriate 'The A-Lister'. From there, the rebirth of Balor can begin.
