The Boss N' Hug Connection have done it!

After a year long run together as the Boss and Hug Connection, Sasha Banks and Bayley finally won the Women's Tag Team Championships. The first ever Tag Team Champions will have all the spotlight on them leading upto WrestleMania.

They defeated five other talented duos in the Elimination Chamber matchup and last eliminated Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to successfully capture the tag team championships.

Sasha Banks and Bayley belong to the Four Horsewomen of WWE, along with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, who are currently fighting each other for a shot at Ronda Rousey's RAW Women's Championship.

Sasha and Bayley are the two biggest names in the Women's Division, and WWE did the right job by giving them the titles.

Who could step up to challenge the Boss and Hug Connection for the titles at Wrestlemania?

#5 Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke

The two powerhouses will be a great matchup for Banks and Bayley
The two powerhouses will be a great matchup for Banks and Bayley

WWE have consistently teased a match between the Four Horsewomen of WWE and the Four Horsewomen of UFC (Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler).

Sasha Banks had an eventful encounter against Ronda Rousey at Royal Rumble last month, and teased a possible confrontation between the two factions after that. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have teased the same matchup on numerous occasions.

That matchup may take some time to materialize, but a tag-team opportunity for two of the UFC's horsewomen cannot be ruled out.

They made their debuts during the Evolution PPV, helping their partner Shayna Baszler in her matchup against Kairi Sane.

Although Duke and Shafir are relatively new to the wrestling industry and lack quality in-ring skills, a feud with Banks and Bayley could help sow seeds of a major confrontation between the factions.

#4 Sky Pirates

Arguably, the most talented duo in WWE today, it was a major surprise when Io Shirai and Kairi Sane were not included in the Elimination Chamber matchup for the Tag-Team championships.

Kairi Sane and Io Shirai appeared at the Royal Rumble event, and have teamed up together for quite some time. They have appeared in tag-team matches in NXT events, and are immensely talented performers!

A matchup between the Sky Pirates and Boss N' Hug Connection will be a iconic battle and an instant classic encounter.

It will also give the Tag Team Championships more credibility, and make the WWE Universe stand up and take notice of the two Japanese superstars.

The Tag Team belts is rumored to be defended across divisions, and it could include a travel to the NXT locker-room as well.

#3 The Bella Twins

It is impossible to talk about female superstars in WWE today without mentioning the exploits of Bella Twins. Nikki Bella and Brie Bella stayed together for a long time and sometimes had a on-off rivalry on the screen as well.

Just like Sky Pirates, it was a major surprise when Bella Twins were excluded from the Elimination Chamber PPV. The Bella Twins have been criticized for hogging the division for a long time, but they were an integral part of the Women's Division in the late 2000s.

The Bella Twins facing off against the Boss N' Hug Connection will once again give huge boost to the popularity of the championship. The Bella Twins have a great following on social media and within the WWE Universe.

Although their in-ring work doesn't hold a candle to Banks and Bayley, they are viable options for a matchup at WrestleMania

#2 Beth Phoenix and Natalya

Beth Phenoix is a true pioneer of the Women's Divison. The powerhouse is a former Divas Champion and is one of the only four female entrants in the Royal Rumble matchup.

Although Beth Phoenix retired from in-ring competition quite some time ago, and was literally the commentator for the first ever Tag Team Championship matchup, she can still go in the ring.

She performed well in the female Royal Rumble match last year, and showed no signs of ring rust. Beth and Natalya's friendship is well documented, and Natalya inducted Beth into the Hall of Fame last year.

Beth and Natalya could be a fantastic matchup for Banks and Bayley, and will be a great way to put over the titles at Mania. No one would bet on Beth and Natalya winning the titles, but it could still happen!

#1 Lita and Trish Stratus

Could they return for one more match at WM?
Could they return for one more match at WM?

It was rumored way back in 2018 that Lita and Trish Stratus are going to face Sasha Banks and Bayley at WrestleMania. Although the tag team championships were not in the picture at that time, they are very well in the equation right now.

Lita and Trish produced a fine display against Mickie James and Alexa Bliss at Evolution last year. They set the tone for eventually wonderful PPV, and showed that they've still got "it".

Lita and Trish competing against Banks and Bayley will be an interesting encounter and will engage the fans from all generations. People who've grown up watching Lita and Trish, as well as people who have seen Banks and Bayley become superstars, will be looking forward to this encounter.

Who do you think should face Sasha Banks and Bayley for the championships?
