This sounds stupid but I mean this could happen. Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens have a match at SummerSlam for the Money in the Bank Briefcase. After the weeks of rivalry between them with finally, Strowman throwing him off the cage. Owens will be looking for the revenge and what a better way would be than defeating him for that briefcase and cashing-in it on any of the superstars(Lesnar or Reigns) who emerges out victorious.
Maybe if somehow Owens finds a way to beat Strowman for the briefcase then he could cash-in it at SummerSlam and become the new Universal champion. Imagine if Reigns is celebrating after defeating Lesnar and suddenly out-of-the-blue Owens appears and cash-in his Money in the Bank contract on Reigns to become 2-time Universal champion. At this point, this scenario has a lesser chance to happen because of all the momentum Strowman collected from past year to the all the way down to Extreme Rules would be wasted. I mean what would be the significance of making Strowman win the briefcase in the first place.
