Bye, Jason!
Bye, Jason!

Well, that was certainly an interesting go-home episode of Monday Night Raw as Survivor Series looms on the horizon. We saw the returns of the likes of Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt but the biggest was reserved last as Triple H made his presence felt in a big big way.

The Game came out in no-nonsense fashion to announce that he was replacing Jason Jordan in the Traditional 5 vs 5 Survivor Series match between Team Raw and Team Smackdown before delivering a thumping Pedigree to Kurt Angle's son and making his exit.

So, why exactly did the WWE decide to go in this direction with Jason Jordan, Triple H, and Survivor Series as a whole? Well, that's what we're here to find out. So, without any further ado, here is our list of five possible reasons why Triple H replaced Jason Jordan for Survivor Series 2017:

#5) Triple H vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 34

Oh yes!
Oh yes!

It seems like the angle the WWE is pushing for, if you'll pardon the pun, is Triple H vs Kurt Angle for WWE Wrestlemania 34. The Showcase of the Immortals will most probably be Kurt's final match in the company and it would make sense to have him go up against a huge name in the form of Trips.

The attack on Jason Jordan provides the perfect starting point for a feud between these two men to escalate and finally conclude at Wrestlemania.

#4) To get Triple H ready for The Road to Wrestlemania

It's a pretty common occurrence these days to see Triple H show up on The Road to Wrestlemania and plant the seeds for a match against an up and coming superstar at The Grandest Stage of Them All. What "The Game generally does during this period is wrestle a bunch of house show matches to get rid of the ring rust.

This seems to be a pretty similar case with Hunter being given an extended period of time to get himself ring-ready and also set up a Wrestlemania 34 feud for him. Which brings us nicely to our next point...

#3) Jason Jordan is too inexperienced

He's just not there yet
He's just not there yet

It seems like ever since Jason Jordan was revealed to be Kurt Angle's son, he has been getting a negative reaction from the WWE Universe. That's because the fans are seeing this as a repeat of the Roman Reigns situation. A "hero" being shoved down their throats.

And, unlike Roman, Jordan doesn't have the in-ring skill to back up the push. He is also terrible on the mic. As a whole, Jordan isn't ready for the Survivor Series match at this point.

#2) The negative reaction to Jason Jordan

As stated in my previous point, Jason Jordan has had a tough time of things ever since being revealed as Kurt Angle's son. There was a perfect example of that this week on Monday Night Raw.

His roll-up victory against the odds of Bray Wyatt was supposed to be celebrated and instead, the crowd sided with "The Eater of Worlds" and even thanked him when he proceeded to destroy JJ after the match.

That sort of reaction might be a huge reason why Kurt Angle's son is no longer a part of the Survivor Series match.

#1) To turn Jason Jordan heel

Jordan needs a heel turn ASAP
Jordan needs a heel turn ASAP

The similarities between the Jason Jordan situation and the Roman Reigns situation just don't seem to stop. Just like "The Big Dog", Kurt Angle's son might very well benefit from a heel turn to freshen up his character and give him some depth.

Today, he is the earnest babyface that no one wants to cheer on. But, make him a heel and make the WWE Universe care about him? That's how you get someone over. This could be the start of that heel turn.
