Similar to Aleister Black, Humberto Carrillo has been involved in the feud between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins since the beginning. He has come out to save Rey and Dominik Mysterio on several occasions and has also received a serious beating from the Monday Night Messiah and his disciple, Murphy.
Due to his luchador background, Humberto Carrillo could be a great choice to join hands with Dominik. There has been discussion among WWE fans on whether Rey Mysterio would pass on his mask to Dominik, with the WWE legend himself expressing the desire to do so.
Considering the way WWE has used Rey Mysterio's popularity to introduce and push his son, Dominik competing under a mask makes sense, reminding fans of his heritage. Of course, WWE has the option to later turn either Carrillo or Dominik on each other and start a feud between the two. Through whatever little we have seen of Dominik inside the ring, he does have the capability to be a great wrestler, and teaming up with Humberto Carrillo could be a great step for both of them.
