What surprises lie in store for us at RAW 25?

RAW, the flagship show of WWE, turns 25 next week. To celebrate, they have a very special show lined up for the WWE Universe. Several legends from the past will be returning to the brand that they proudly call home. In all the excitement, we may forget one very important match.

The Intercontinental Championship will be defended on the show. The Champion, Roman Reigns is set to take on The Miz, the man he claimed the title from. The Miz was out filming a movie, but he's now back and ready to stake his claim once again.

There are so many ways this match could go down on RAW. We will suggest five possible finishes that could very well go down.

Do bear in mind that this is all just speculation for now...

#5 Roman Reigns wins the match clean

WWE may want a strong showing for their biggest babyface
WWE may want a strong showing for their biggest babyface

Think about it, guys. This is a special WWE show, which means that a lot more eyes will be tuned in to watch the ongoing proceedings. This also means that WWE will want to make their biggest babyface look strong. Why wouldn't they have him win clean?

After all, WWE will want a feel good moment on their biggest RAW. Like it or not, Roman Reigns still has a huge fan base among the casual audience. They may be enthralled to see their hero overcome the odds and emerge victorious, on this grand stage.

Let's face it...all said and done, this is Vince McMahon's company. And he will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of RAW in the manner he chooses.

Some of you may be disappointed with this possibility, but it's definitely quite a likely one.

#4 The Undertaker costs Roman Reigns the match

There is unfinished business between these two 'yard' owners
There is unfinished business between these two 'yard' owners

The Undertaker has only lost twice at WrestleMania. When he was pinned by Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker made him pay over the months that followed. The two men had a lengthy program stemming from The Phenom's embarrassing loss. Why would he go easy on Reigns?

If anything, we expect The Undertaker's appearance at RAW 25 to be much more than a visit to say hello to the WWE Universe. The Undertaker's whole agenda may be to cost Reigns his Championship. If so, we could be in for a big rematch at WrestleMania 34.

In helping Roman Reigns, The Undertaker may inadvertently assist The Miz in picking up a big win as well. The A-Lister could become an Eight Time WWE Intercontinental Champion in this very process.

Bruce Prichard recently claimed that The Undertaker is looking better than ever, and if he's in ring shape, he may not be done in the squared circle, just about yet.

#3 John Cena goes heel, helps The Miz win

This development could change the face of professional wrestling
This development could change the face of professional wrestling forever

RAW scored a very solid rating this week. We imagine that the ratings will only go up next week, because of the special names that have been advertised for the mega event. On such a grand occasion, we feel something major will go down. One possibility is Cena's heel turn.

If you think that John Cena and Roman Reigns had a match at No Mercy and are now good, you are sorely mistaken, dear reader. A match of such a magnitude does not only happen once. We've only witnessed the tip of the iceberg.

It is quite possible that Cena -- who confirmed his participation in the Royal Rumble, hoping to win it for the third time -- may use such a stage to tap into his dark side. If so, the world of wrestling will never be the same.

The fact of the matter is when Cena goes heel, he could cost Roman Reigns his Intercontinental Championship, helping The Miz win his prized Intercontinental Championship.

#2 The Miztourage helps The Miz win

Axel and Dallas could help The Miz win the big one
Axel and Dallas could help The Miz reclaim his Championship

Maybe nothing special happens during the match at all. Maybe all that happens is that Axel and Dallas team up to help The Miz win back his championship.

This possibility makes complete sense because Reigns will possibly leave the Intercontinental Championship picture, going forward. Rumours indicate that Brock Lesnar has been lined up for him at WrestleMania. If so, The Big Dog needs to drop the title before going up against the Beast.

There's not a chance of The Miz winning clean over Roman Reigns, we believe. Reigns has been the most protected performer in the company and will continue to remain so!

#1 Brock Lesnar costs Roman Reigns The Intercontinental Championship

Could their WrestleMania program begin as early as next week?
Could their WrestleMania 34 program begin as early as next week?

We heard that Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar were supposed to lock horns as early as March of last year. Plans still seem to be on for the huge pay-per-view main event, but could the action begin as early as RAW 25?

Lesnar is supposed to be on the show, after all. Wouldn't it be cool to see him cost Roman Reigns his prized WWE Championship? It would generate interest for this big rematch of epic proportions.

We've outlined 5 possibilities for you to mull over. Let us know what you think will go down at the show from the list, or from your own imagination.
