#1. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels is often considered to be the greatest in-ring talent ever and was the co-founder and original leader of the successful stable, D-Generation X. He headlined Wrestlemania an impressive 5 times and faced The Undertaker in two consecutive Wrestlemania events.
His final match took place at Wrestlemania 26 against The Undertaker in a losing effort and was forced to retire due to the match stipulation. Michaels was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 2 by Triple H.

Shawn is currently signed to WWE as an ambassador and trainer. He most recently surprised fans by dishing out some Sweet Chin Music as a special guest referee in the Drew Mcintyre vs Adam Cole NXT Title match at the San Antonio, Texas, house show on November 18, 2017. "The Show Stopper" is a good contender for hosting Wrestlemania next year. He has been loyal to Vince McMahon throughout his career and is highly respected backstage. A "sweet chin music" to kick off Wrestlemania would be a great treat to the WWE universe.
