Given how closely he is associated with Cody on Being the Elite each and every week, it's clear that there's a big plan for him in the future. The Salt of the Earth MJF is one of the best character workers in the United States today, and given the fact that he's still in his very early 20's, he could play a big part in the long term future and success of All Elite Wrestling.

Like Joey Janela, he's already announced for the Casino Battle Royale, and while throwing him in such a high profile match so early may hurt the story they want to tell with him, it's a chance for him to shine on the big stage. Like Janela, this one is highly unlikely, but given that Hangman is being positioned as the companies top babyface, a battle with a heel like MJF would be quite fun, but maybe not to the standard they want to set straight off the bat.
