5 potential opponents for The Bar at Elimination Chamber

They don't just set The Bar, they are The Bar!
They don't just set The Bar, they are The Bar!

Once they were the worst of enemies. Former WWE RAW General Manager Mick Foley booked them in a 'Series of 7' matches and soon, they developed a mutual respect for one another. Soon, this respect turned to friendship. Soon, this friendship turned to a quest for gold.

The Bar is, today, one of the best tag teams in the world, across all major wrestling promotions. The WWE RAW Tag Team Champions have brought prestige and glory to the tag team division, and the duo never disappoints in the ring. Which begs the question...what's next for the two superstars?

We know the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is coming soon. What does WWE have planned for these two talented superstars, and whom will they be defending their titles against?

We list 5 probable opponents.

#5 The Revival

Had they not been injured, they'd have ranked much higher
Had they not been injured, they'd have ranked higher

Once upon a time, they were NXT's hottest act. They stole the show at every NXT Takeover. Then, they got called up and were booked in a prominent role. Straight up, they were in a feud with The New Day.

Unfortunately, Dash and Dawson were the victims of injuries ever since. And since they came back to action, they have seemed like a diminished force. It did not help that they were buried by D-Generation X on RAW 25, in front of a record-breaking TV audience.

The fact remains that if The Bar and The Revival ever got to mix it up, they would totally steal the show and put on a match that blows our collective minds. We wonder though, if WWE sees The Revival in the same light, as their long-time fans do.

Therefore, let's move on to a fantasy pairing, that may well come to pass...

#4 Seth Rollins & a mystery partner

Unfortunately, Jordan is in no condition to compete
Unfortunately, Jordan is in no condition to compete

There are many names we could throw out, as Seth Rollins' partner. Bobby Lashley for one. Rumours are rife that he's on his way to WWE, and due for a collision course with Lesnar, following WrestleMania. This could be a great feud to ease him in.

Rey Mysterio is another name that one may consider. After all, rumours had surfaced that his deal was not one and done. What a fantasy dream-team Mysterio and Rollins would comprise.

Fozzy is not on tour, on the day Elimination Chamber 2018 takes place. Of course, this does not necessarily mean anything, but it could mean a lot too!

The fact of the matter is that it doesn't make sense for Rollins to leave the tag team title picture. Especially since his star power adds a lot of credibility to the division. Any of these men could partner with Rollins to take on The Bar. Whoever it may be, the match would certainly be quite spectacular.

#3 Titus Worldwide

Is it time for these three superstars to shine bright?
Is it time for these three superstars to shine?

At first glance, it seems like a mismatched contest. However, do not forget that Titus Worldwide has two wins over The Bar, thus far. Could they make it all the way to Elimination Chamber, and square off against the champions? We wouldn't be surprised if they do.

We all know that Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neil do have the in-ring talent, when the match so demands it. The question is if WWE has enough faith in the two, to go up against their top guys.

Maybe Dana Brooke has some statistics that could help them win.

Actually, considering that she never even carries a pencil with her pad, we doubt it.

#2 The Club

Could Finn Balor help them win?
Could Finn Balor help them win?

The Club came into WWE with much momentum. Once upon a time, they were allied with AJ Styles and in a way, in the most important program on the show too (#BeatUpJohnCena). Since then, their stock has dropped. That is, until they allied with Finn Balor.

There's a lot more fuel in the engine of Gallows and Anderson now. They seem like a reinvigorated unit, and more importantly, are babyfaces. They could have a great program with a heel team like The Bar.

If hypothetically, The Club were to win the tag team championships, they'd be a viable team to challenge The Shield, when Ambrose does return. Right now, they do not have the equity to do so. Everyone in The Shield is far too big a star.

#1 Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt

The worst enemies make the strongest allies
The worst enemies always make the strongest allies

Remember how much Sheamus and Cesaro used to hate each other? They used their hatred for one another, to build a stronger kind of partnership, a brotherhood. The same can hold true for Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy. Could they come together, for a common goal?

We know that not many forces can stand toe-to-toe with Cesaro and Sheamus in the ring. What happens when they are confronted with the power of the supernatural? This could be a very interesting feud.

To be honest, this seems like the only logical conclusion of their feud. If Wyatt and Hardy do not come together to end their battle, WWE creative will soon be at a loss with regard to where to go next!
