Triple H is the Executive Vice President of Talent and Creative for WWE and is also the producer of NXT. Despite taking a backstage role, he still competes inside the squared circle once in a while.

"The Game" headlined Wrestlemania a record seven times and is synonymous with producing high profile matches at the showcase. He recently made an in-ring return at a house show in Chile and looked as good as ever.

With Wrestlemania season not too far away, we look at five potential opponents that Triple H could face at the event.

#5 Rusev

Rusev and Triple H went toe to toe in a SmackDown live house show, with Rusev losing to Triple H following a devastating pedigree. The Game showed no ring rust and proved that he is still one of the best in the ring.

Rusev could use this loss as motivation to go after Triple H and gain his vengeance. This feud could culminate in a match at Wrestlemania.

"The Bulgarian Brute" has been on a losing streak and a feud with Triple H could see him benefit in a big way. Defeating Triple H at "The Show of Shows" would redeem Rusev's once unstoppable persona.

#4 Shane McMahon

There appears to be unknown animosity between Shane McMahon and Triple H. With Triple H already making his return just a few days ago, an encounter with Shane McMahon would be an interesting one and would cause a lot of buzz.

The WWE Universe have speculated and anticipated a match between the two for quite some time now. The issues between these two corporate giants would best be solved in a WWE ring at Wrestlemania.

Triple H would most likely challenge Shane's authority as the Commissioner of SmackDown live. The power struggle between the two is likely to blow up and lead to a showdown at Wrestlemania.

Expect Stephanie McMahon to take her husband's side whereas Shane might just get the Chairman's backing. A match of such magnitude would have big stipulations and the implications would be severe. Sledgehammers and high-risk manoeuvres would dominate this match.

#3 Kevin Owens

Triple H vs Kevin Owens presents an awesome teacher vs student match-up. In his feud and subsequent victory over Shane McMahon at Hell in a Cell, Owens dominated the McMahon family so far.

We all witnessed Kevin Owens head butt Vince McMahon upon announcing the match for Hell in a Cell. Vince has neither appeared on Raw or SmackDown since then and Triple H could bring this up and vent his frustration against Kevin Owens.

"The Game" assisted Kevin Owens in his first world title victory in the Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Big Cass. It would therefore not come as a surprise for Triple H to claim that he is the reason behind Kevin Owen's success and express his disappointment. This would lead to a grudge match at Wrestlemania.

#2 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is an unstoppable monster and has been on a destructive path, dominating one Superstar after the other. Most recently at the TLC pay-per-view event, we got a feeling that he may be turning face following the assault he received from Kane, Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro.

Triple H is one of the biggest stars of his generation and anyone who steps in the ring with the "King of Kings" stands to benefit in the long run. A Wrestlemania encounter with Triple H would be exactly what Braun needs.

A heel Triple H could issue an open challenge to any Superstar of the new era. Who better to answer this challenge than Braun Strowman? The fans will surely rally behind the monster as has been evidenced lately.

The 400-pound monster could destroy the Game and continue to ascend on the path to superstardom. As the Monster Among Men is expected to be a babyface upon his return, a feud against an Authority-backed HHH would be a great programme.

#1 Bray Wyatt

It is about time Bray Wyatt played "The Game"! Wyatt and Triple H had a stare down last year in what fans thought was a tease for a match at Wrestlemania that year, but we didn't see the match happen.

Bray Wyatt has lost, time and time again and it has become rare to see him pick up a win. Despite this, there is a desire to see him rise since he is one of the most exciting wrestlers today. Expect Wyatt to confront Triple H and leave him lying motionless in the ring to set up a match for Wrestlemania.

This feud would give Wyatt the much-needed momentum he needs to achieve greatness. Standing tall beside a fallen Triple H would give him a lifeline and make him a force to reckon with going forward.
