The City of Angels hosted the biggest party of the summer for six consecutive years from 2009 to 2014 when it was held in Staples Center. The staples center has been a home away from home for the WWE and provided numerous shocking moments that will be forever be etched in the minds of the WWE universe. Some of them include the insane TCL Match between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy, Brock Lesnar destroying John Cena in the most epic one-sided championship match in WWE history and Daniel Bryan finally winning the WWE Championship.

With rumors going around that WWE might be planning to return to the city for Summerslam 2018, it is only befitting that they hold the show in the Dodgers Stadium. What may entice WWE to go back to Los Angeles is the fact that the event will generate maximum attention from the mainstream media which the WWE craves for. Multiple Hollywood celebrities will be attending the event and as we have come to know over the years, the WWE never fails to encash on these opportunities.

The Company is not averse to the idea of holding a show in a baseball park as the Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona will be the venue for Royal Rumble next year. The Dodgers stadium is one of the most iconic baseball parks in the country and holding an event there will raise WWE's stock to newer heights.
