Any WWE fan who has followed online speculation in recent times knows about Riddle's beef against Goldberg.

As a possibility, one cannot rule out a potential clash between Goldberg and Riddle. WWE has often infused real-life situations with fictional storylines in the past, and Riddle vs. Goldberg would be no different in this case.

Although Riddle has been a part of the United States Championship scenario recently, it is unlikely that Bobby Lashley's dominant run as the U.S. Champion will end anytime soon. Other than that, Riddle hasn't exactly had a proper creative direction on the main roster. Given the outrageous statements that Riddle has made against the WCW icon in the past, a feud with Goldberg could be that intriguing creative direction that Riddle needed all this time.

If Goldberg defeats Riddle, he would redeem his image and shut down his harshest critic. If Riddle defeats Goldberg, it would be his biggest victory in WWE so far.
