Velasquez defeated Lesnar in the main event of UFC 121 to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion of the world. Lesnar's MMA career was never the same. It wouldn't be wrong to say that 'The Beast Incarnate' would be more than eager to seek redemption against Velasquez.

Brock Lesnar is a phenomenal athlete and has beaten some of the biggest names in WWE, but to put him against someone who has actually knocked him out before would be something entirely new, even for the WWE Universe. This clash could be so huge that it may even be WrestleMania worthy.

Something similar can be done in 2019 with Cain Velasquez and Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens has often drawn comparisons with 'The Texas Rattlesnake,' so why not try him out in a similar storyline? While Velasquez may not be as popular as Mike Tyson was, he still is well known courtesy of his deeds inside the Octagon.

Pitting Owens against Velasquez would be billed effectively as WWE vs UFC. As far as the quality of the feud is concerned, Owens is as good as it gets. If Velasquez is looking for a longer stay in WWE, then a feud with Owens could be just what he needs to establish himself with the WWE Universe.
