#2 Bayley and Carmella

In 2019, Bayley re-established herself in WWE as a heel for her first time in the company. The star debuted a new look of short hair and darker ring gear, and slashed her famous Bayley Buddies on SmackDown.

Similarly, in 2020, fellow former SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella took a new direction with her persona, changing up her look, dubbing herself "untouchable" and started being accompanied backstage and in the ring by Reginald, her sommelier.

Both Bayley and Carmella now have a common enemy - Sasha Banks. Bayley turned against her former tag team partner towards the end of summer and lost her SmackDown Women's Championship to her, and Carmella is fresh from feuding with The Boss.

This common enemy is something that could draw together Bayley and Carmella, who are two of the biggest heels in SmackDown's women's division currently. The duo worked together quite a lot in NXT, and were dubbed BayMella by fans of WWE's Black and Gold Brand.

If Bayley and Carmella did indeed form a tag team, it would be interesting to see their pursuits of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
