Predicting the next 4 NXT Champions

The NXT Championship has been around since it was created in 2012. WWE held a tournament to crown the very first Champion. The finals had Jinder Mahal face Seth Rollins, with Rollins coming out on top.

Since then, some of the biggest names in wrestling today have held the title. Those names include Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura and the current Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas.

Let's take a look into the future and predict who the next few winners of the title might be.

#4 Aleister Black

Aleister Black is most likely to be the next Champion

If Andrade Almas were to lose the NXT Championship anytime soon, it will definitely be to this man. Currently the two are set to face off at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans in what will be an exciting match.

Black is the perfect anti-hero in NXT right now and will be great as Champion. He's a fantastic worker and is getting better on the mic every day.

If Almas isn't making the jump to the main roster anytime soon, I can see these two having a few matches, with all of them being a fantastic watch.

#3 Adam Cole

Adam Cole BAY BAY!

If Adam Cole doesn't win the NXT Championship at any point during his time in NXT, that will be a crime against wrestling. Over the last few years, Cole has grown into one of the best pro wrestling has to offer.

He is great in the ring and one of the best on the mic. Without a doubt, Cole currently has one of the best catchphrases in wrestling today - Adam Cole BAY BAY!

We can see his fellow 'Undisputed Era' members helping him out to win the title. Just imagine Cole as NXT Champion, with Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly as Tag Team Champions at the same time. It would end up as one of the best time periods in NXT history.

#2 Ricochet

Ricochet signed with WWE this past January and has been impressive in his matches so far. He's wrestled primarily on house shows, but that won't stop him from being a top star when he's on NXT TV every week.

Let's say these predictions turn out to be correct and Adam Cole becomes the Champion, then a match between him and Ricochet will be an instant classic. These two are no strangers as they have faced each other plenty of times during their respective independent careers.

We can see Ricochet being a strong babyface as Champion, defending the belt against anyone who steps up and not backing down from any challenge.

#1 EC3

2019 might be his year!

Formerly known as Derrick Bateman during his first WWE run, the man now known as EC3 has dominated the wrestling world since then. He made the jump to TNA after being released and has become a major star since then.

He's a former TNA World Champion and one of the biggest draws TNA has ever had. We can see him finding success in NXT as well.

Assuming WWE doesn't put him in the main event picture right away, we can see EC3 dominating NXT next year. This time next year, he could be challenging whoever is the NXT Champion then or even be the Champion himself.
