Will Reigns drop the IC title before WrestleMania?
Will Reigns drop the IC title before WrestleMania?

There is a roster full of talented professional wrestlers in the WWE right now, but only a few have gone on to become champions. It’s the survival of the fittest, because becoming a champion in the WWE is not a feat that everyone can achieve.

It takes hard work, perseverance and character. WWE now has highly talented professional wrestlers as champions and each one has earned the right to be in the place that they are in today.

Being a champion is not an easy task as there is a locker room full of potential challengers who are waiting in line to take the titles away. A champion has to go through all of them in order to establish their dominance.

Now let us have a look at which championships will change hands before WrestleMania 34 next year and guess who could potentially dethrone the current champion.

#5 The Cruiserweight Championship

Enzo Amore
The Realest Champ in the room

We now have the self proclaimed realest guy in the WWE, Enzo Amore, as the Cruiserweight Champion. You may hate the guy but you cannot deny the fact that Amore had brought a lot of legitimacy to the cruiserweight division.

With Neville as the sole attraction, the Cruiserweight division was becoming as lukewarm as it could be. Enter Enzo Amore, the brash talking superstar, who brought to the division what the others superstars couldn’t do and that is to get the crowd interested in their program.

205 Live is getting stale as there is no direction to any of the feuds and WWE is realizing that one man cannot carry the entire division on his shoulders. A title change may shake things up a little bit and we can expect Enzo Amore to drop the title before Wrestlemania 34.

The Potential Challenger

Hideo Itami
Hideo Itami is on his way to 205 Live

With Neville now out of the equation there is no credible challenger around to prove as a threat to Enzo’s title reign. But there may be someone who is on his way to 205 live and is able to pose a potential threat to the title.

WWE announced last month that Hideo Itami is on his way to 205 Live. The smart bet would be to root for Hideo Itami to defeat Enzo Amore and go on to Wrestlemania as the Cruiserweight Champion.

#4 The Raw Women’s Championship

Alexa Bliss' days as champion are numbered
Alexa Bliss' days as champion are numbered

Taking nothing away from the current champion Alexa Bliss, it is most evident that the Raw creative team will be going for Paige vs Asuka for the Raw Women’s championship at Wrestlemania 34.

Little Miss Bliss is proudly carrying the Raw women’s championship around her waist and we can say that she deserves to be in the position she is in today. She was overshadowed by the Four Horsewomen during her NXT days and one would’ve expected the same to happen when she was called up to the main roster.

But she did exceptionally well to get Vince McMahon’s attention and the rest, as they say is history. She became the first person to have held both Raw and SmackDown Women’s championships.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have her go into WrestleMania as the champion but things are not looking well for Bliss thanks to the arrival of Asuka and Paige.

So it is almost certain that the Raw Women’s championship will be changing hands before the show of shows.

The Potential Challenger

Paige
Paige as champion would be best for business

As I told you before, the Raw creative team will likely be going for Paige vs Asuka for the Raw Women’s championship at Wrestlemania 34. But who will be going into WrestleMania as the champion?

It is highly likely that Paige will be the one to dethrone Alexa Bliss and will defend the championship against Asuka at WrestleMania.

The whole Absolution storyline may possibly lead to Asuka crossing paths with the newly formed stable and ending up overcoming all the odds to successfully defeat Paige and become the new Raw women’s champion at WrestleMania 34.

#3 The SmackDown Live Women’s Championship

The Queen will be dethroned before WrestleMania
The Queen will be dethroned before WrestleMania

Charlotte Flair is the current SmackDown Live Women’s Champion. Charlotte created history when she became the first person to have held the Raw, Smackdown and NXT Women’s championships. Charlotte Flair is arguably the best female wrestler in the WWE right now.

The daughter of the Nature Boy Ric Flair has proved many times that she is giving her legendary 2-time Hall of Famer dad a run for his money. Her accomplishments in the WWE are a testimony to that.

It is being speculated that Charlotte Flair may drop the title before WrestleMania 34 to move on to the highly anticipated match between the 4 horsewomen of WWE vs the 4 horsewomen of MMA.

The Potential Challenger

Carmella
Carmella can make history at Clash of Champions

The superstar who is reported to dethrone Charlotte is Ms Money in the Bank, Carmella. The Princess of Staten Island is all set to cash in her 'Money in the Bank' contract on Charlotte Flair, possibly in the upcoming pay per view- Clash of Champions.

The plan for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania is yet to be revealed and we don’t have to wait much longer to find that out.

#2 The Raw Tag Team Championship

The Bar
Will Cesaro and Sheamus drop the titles ?

Unlike the other championships in the list, we can expect the Raw Tag Team Championship to change hands twice before Wrestlemania 34.

Sheamus and Cesaro are now the current reigning raw tag team champions, a unit put together by Mick Foley.

They have been nothing short of outstanding as a team as they never failed to impress in any match they’ve competed in.

The Potential Challengers

Rollins & Ambrose
Rollins and Ambrose will be the ones to dethrone The Bar

The Raw Tag Team Championship picture is becoming interesting, week after week. With The Shield reunited and Roman Reigns as the Intercontinental Champion, we can expect Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to win back their championships from Sheamus and Cesaro making all three members of The Shield champions in the process.

However we cannot expect The Shield to go into WrestleMania as a team. It’s very well known that Roman Reigns is en route to defeat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

It is being speculated that WWE is planning a heel turn for Dean Ambrose and may carry out another Shield breakup. So the tag team championships will change hands for the second time with Sheamus and Cesaro recapturing the titles from Rollins and Ambrose.

#1 The Intercontinental Championship

Roman Reigns
The Big Dog

This one is an obvious choice as we all know Roman Reigns is set to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. Having Roman Reigns as the Intercontinental Champion during the match will not make the bout look like a big deal.

So expect Reigns to drop the Intercontinental championship shortly after The Royal Rumble and move on to his match with Lesnar at WrestleMania soon after.

The Potential Challenger

Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe is all set to become the intercontinental champion

It would make sense to have Samoa Joe dethrone Roman Reigns. WWE could not afford to have Reigns look weak when he drops the championship. That writes off the possibility of another babyface wrestler defeating Reigns.

Samoa Joe is one of the best heels in the Raw roster right now and having him defeat Roman Reigns would be the right choice. The seeds for this match have already been planted a couple of weeks ago when Joe put Reigns to sleep after the latter’s match with Elias
