On the Season Premiere of SmackDown on Fox on October 4, 2019, records tumbled once Brock Lesnar entered the ring.

Top WWE star punished? More details HERE

Lesnar appeared to challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, and many fans believed that Kofi’s red-hot run will allow him to get some offense in before taking the fall at the hands of The Beast.

However, they were gravely mistaken as the creatives did not show any mercy while booking the leader of the New Day in this clash. Kofi tried to attack Lesnar from the opening bell, but Lesnar caught him and delivered an F5 that ended Kofi’s reign as the WWE Champion.

It took only seven seconds for Kofi’s dominating six months’ reign as the WWE Champion to come to an end and marked the beginning of Lesnar’s fifth reign as the WWE Champion.

Many fans felt cheated as they believed they’d worked hard to put Kofi over and such a loss impacted his image and ended his reign unceremoniously.

This was by far Lesnar’s quickest victory inside the squared circle, and one of the quickest wrestling victories of all time. Lesnar was confronted by Cain Velasquez after his match.
