Believe it or not, Brock Lesnar versus Ricochet is a bit of a dream match in WWE right now and the company owes it to the fans to invest some time in it. Interestingly enough, the company already seems to be doing that with Ricochet's win over the much larger Bobby Lashley on RAW and building him up as an underdog in the process.

Whether WWE uses that momentum to create a worthwhile dream match remains to be seen, but they absolutely should. Maybe that's a little too much to ask, especially with all the other great content that the company is putting out right now, but this matchup deserves so much better.

Think about it! There is a reason that the WWE Universe is so invested in Ricochet. On top of the amazing high flying acrobatics, Ricochet has become the personification of the ultimate underdog. He is someone that fans can see themselves as and relate his struggles to theirs. That's why this match is so important! It doesn't just represent Ricochet overcoming his biggest challenge, but everyone else doing the same.

Sure, Ricochet is pretty much going to get destroyed in the end anyway and probably in a semi short match, but why not give fans that little bit of hope that something big could happen? Why not tease the upset? Why not show the WWE Universe that even if you don't achieve your goal, you put up one heck of a fight in the process.
