Conor McGregor could end up finding some good competition in WWE NXT. The reason for that is the fact that NXT boasts some of the top brawlers in the industry. While the main roster has big names such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Daniel Bryan, their fighting style can be very different from those of some current NXT Superstars.

Men like Tommaso Ciampa, Karrion Kross, Pete Dunne, and Timothy Thatcher have competed in some of the best matches in WWE. Their fighting style could mesh well with that of McGregor.

The MMA star does not know how to hold back punches, and many of the men in NXT have the same problem. That could help WWE to build some hard-hitting matches and take rivalries to the Fight Pit, where McGregor could rule over his opponents.

The idea of Conor McGregor getting involved in a rivalry against Sheamus heading into WrestleMania sounds tempting. However, it would be beneficial to have him brawl with some of the men in NXT first. This would allow WWE to book some ruthless matches to show what the MMA fighter is made of while giving the NXT Superstars a boost.
