Adding to the previous point, making Finn Balor the NXT Champion could ultimately help NXT book a massive feud between him and Karrion Kross. As soon as Karrion Kross won the NXT Championship, fans started speculating who could be the one to take the title off the unstoppable force. The name that topped the list for many was Finn Balor.

Karrion Kross appeared with Scarlett on NXT tonight and mentioned how he will be back to reclaim his title. It is not known how long Kross would be out but he should ideally be back before WrestleMania next year. If the world becomes a better place by then, NXT could then book a massive match between him and Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at the TakeOver before WrestleMania 37.

An interesting thing to note has been that we have not seen the Demon King in NXT during Finn Balor's recent run. Maybe he can bring out his alter ego for that match against Karrion Kross.
