#3 Nobody wants to see Goldberg as a World Champion

I follow a lot of people on social media and a lot of them have extreme wrestling opinions, but I still haven’t seen one person say they want to see Goldberg as WWE Universal Champion. What kind of reign would he even give us?

A few appearances every two months, a sub-par promo and a two-minute match, yeah, that'll really be a pop for the ratings, won't it? Goldberg literally does nothing for the current title scene, he certainly won't elevate it, neither will he provide anything different.

A 50-year old Goldberg as WWE Universal Champion in the year of 2017, does nobody any favours.

If Vince so heavily insists on pushing Goldberg as the main cornerstone of Monday Night Raw, then have him mix and dabble with the show's best heels instead.

Book him to have physical contests with the likes of Rusev, the New Day, Sheamus and even Titus O'Neil. Use what's left of his dwindling star power to put over younger superstars, rather than continue to put them down.
