When Morrison left the WWE back in late 2011, he had his whole career ahead of him. The guy was 32-years-old and looked set to have a lot more in the tank when it came to the world of professional wrestling, and as we look back five years on he definitely proved everyone right.
Because of that, it's even more of a shame to think that he wasn't able to utilise those skills in the biggest promotion in the industry.
Morrison would've had many years to continue to hone his craft, and would've surely seen a number of World Title runs given how hot he was prior to leaving.
If he was still there today he'd only be 37, and when you look at people like Chris Jericho who are still going strong you'd have to imagine that Morrison would still be able to make an impact.
