#4 Monday night RAW needs a full-time champion
Another problem with Lesnar's part-time schedule is that he can only defend the title a certain number of times per year.
Whilst Lesnar does not need to leave the WWE in order for this to happen (they can just put the belt on another superstar for example), the WWE has kept the belt on him for over an entire year now, which would be unthinkable for a part-timer.
A lot of the story lines on RAW revolve around people challenging to become the number one contender for the title rather than someone actually feuding with the champion.
Pay per view events where the Universal Championship is not defended has become the norm and this is something which the WWE needs to move away from.
