If anything, the biggest message that Cody sent to Triple H and WWE was that AEW is here to stay and that they will take the fight head on to WWE, starting at Double or Nothing.
Cody was told he wasn't good enough to be a top player in the WWE as he thought that he had it to be one. He has shown post his WWE stint that he can be a top dog in the business, with his wrestling in NJPW and ROH, as well as his business acumen in, first, showcasing ALL IN, and now Double or Nothing.
AEW's vision is to make pro wrestling great and dragging WWE off their throne, and Cody attacking the throne, which resembled that of Triple H's, with The Game's sledgehammer, was perhaps the clearest message that they will destroy WWE with vengeance.
