We could see Dean getting fast-tracked to the top of the ladder soon if he signs up

One would really need to strain his memory to remember when Dean was the WWE Champion (yes it has been that long) and one would really be hard-pressed to think of something of significance during most of his title reigns.

It is a fact that Dean, when compared to his Shield buddies, has not had anywhere close to a successful/eventful run as a Champion and that has to be one of the sticking points when Dean looks back at his time in WWE. Having said that, if Ambrose signs an extension it won't be a huge surprise if he gets a run at the top of the card soon. We could be looking at a "Money in the Bank" win or a swift rise to the top of the ladder for Dean in the near future if he stays.
