He might just say yes to getting a much bigger hike and something that many don't understand is that a wrestler's career has a limited shelf life and they operate in that window only. So if they do get an option which secures them for life they would more often than not take it. The second situation could be the comparative deals put on the table by both WWE and AEW and the compensation provided by WWE is way more attractive than what AEW could offer.
