5 reasons why Finn Balor needs to turn heel

Finn Balor has been one of the fan favorites in WWE ever since he signed with the company. Without a doubt he is one of the best NXT champions in the history; he held the title for an impressive 292 days which is the longest NXT championship reign as of writing. WWE was in the mood to give this guy a big push by making him the first ever Universal Champion within a month of his main roster debut. He was the top guy in the company for a while, but unfortunately, he was injured and has never been same again.

After he came back, he had a horrible feud with Bray Wyatt which led to nothing and made both of them look bad. Balor is in a stage right now where fans don't care about him; he is just another guy on the roster, but one thing can really change his future, and that's a heel turn.

#5 A perfect introduction to Balor Club

As we all know, Finn Balor reunited with his New Japan buddies Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to form the stable Balor Club. It's no secret that Balor started the heel stable in New Japan Pro Wrestling with the name of Bullet Club; it became so popular that after Balor left, AJ Styles came and became the leader of the group and it was an effective heel stable that kept the same name.

It would be interesting to see a heel Balor with his heel group in WWE.

#4 Something new for WWE fans

Balor has been one of the most effective baby faces in WWE; fans really love him and want him to be one of the top guys, but we have never seen Balor as a heel in WWE. Of course, he was a heel in New Japan Pro Wrestling, but a large part of WWE Universe is unaware of that, and considering that he was the leader of one of the best heel stables, it would be interesting for the fans to see him in a heel role. And it would be something new and refreshing for Balor to work with.

#3 Future feud with AJ Styles

Balor had one of the best matches last year with AJ Styles at TLC and it was just a teaser of a really good possible feud.

When AJ made his debut in 2016, he instantly aligned himself with Gallows and Anderson to form the stable 'The Club', and now that Balor is the leader of his Balor Club with Gallows and Anderson, it's just perfect for these two to feud. Of course, AJ is the biggest babyface in WWE right now, so there's no doubt that Balor will be the heel.

#2 Big exposure for his demon persona

Balor's demon persona is undoubtedly one of the best things in WWE right now, and quite frankly, this is why people still love Finn Balor. The demon kind of describes Balor, and he has done a good job over the years to show that, but just imagine that character in a heel role; it would be just awesome. A dark mythological character doing the work of a villain sounds great, and as a face, Balor is very limited with what to do as the demon. Once he turns heel, there will be no boundaroes for his character and we will get to see some crazy heel work of Finn Balor as the demon.

#1 His losing streak will make sense

Balor has been on the losing streak for some time now. Ever since he came back from injury, he is struggling to reach the top; he had one of the worst feuds with Bray Wyatt last year and after that, he was squashed by Kane and was eliminated by Cena in the Survivor Series elimination match.

Now, after reuniting with Gallows and Anderson, he is slowly getting the good response, but on the Raw after the Royal Rumble, he lost to John Cena in the Elimination Chamber qualifying match. It would all make sense if he turns heel; people would actually buy his heel turn as he tried to do the things the right way but failed, and just like Sami Zayn, the heel turn will work for him.
