5 Reasons why having Brock Lesnar hold the Universal and UFC Title will ruin WWE

Brock Lesnar,
Will Brock Lesnar drop the Universal title at SummerSlam?

#1 Not good publicity

WWE, Universal title,
Would The Universal title lose all credibility in this case?

Believe it or not, Brock Lesnar holding The Universal Title and UFC title simultaneously is the worst thing WWE could do. Not only is that evident by the fact that the big red belt will always be known as the joke belt with the mainstream media, but also by how Lesnar will continue to treat the belt like crap.

If nothing else, the last thing WWE needs right now is another part-time champion. Sure, it might sound like a good idea, especially after seeing Ronda Rousey's first Raw match covered by ESPN,but this would be at the expense of the company that he is trying to get fans interested in.

Consider the fact that mainstream sports fans don't have a positive opinion of pro wrestling and that Lesnar's united championship run would become a staple at ESPN and you see the problem with doing something like that. Vince needs to understand the interest just isn't there, but he also needs to understand that his title will only lose legitimacy

In the end, ESPN fans already complain whenever WWE is discussed on the Facebook page and this is only going to continue if Lesnar signs a new deal with the company. Furthermore, if Vince McMahon thinks that having both titles on Lesnar is a good thing, he could be making a decision that sets the company back several decades.
