One of my favorite moments of last year was Kevin Owens' arrival in NXT to join Tommaso Ciampa’s team for TakeOver: WarGames. Owens and Ciampa worked extremely well and gave fans an experience they wouldn’t have ever expected.

The next night at Survivor Series, Ciampa was the man who pinned Owens and eliminated him from the traditional Survivor Series elimination match to draw a huge pop from the WWE Universe.

These spots make wrestling so much more interesting and storytelling so much better, whilst also keeping the fans interested in what all is going on.

In recent months, we’ve seen many encounters between NXT, RAW, and SmackDown athletes, and we’re sure that whenever they come face to face again, the commentary team will not hesitate in reminding us of their history.

Keeping that in mind, having NXT Superstars in the Money in the Bank ladder match will allow the creatives to once again build some bad blood between Superstars of the three brands and set the tone for a future rivalry.

Watching Owens and Ciampa come face to face again will draw a huge pop from the crowd. On the other hand, if Balor represents NXT in the MITB match then we can expect the crowd to literally go wild!
