One thing that NXT has always been able to do is to keep their Takeover cards short. A Takeover usually consists of four to five matches and usually runs for less than three hours.

While common logic dictates that the brand increase the show's runtime and increase the number of matches on the event, the NXT management has decided to stick to its guns and not increase the runtime of their Takeover specials.

One of the biggest gripes of the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) over the past few years has been the overdose of WWE's weekly programming.

WWE's flagship show, Monday Night RAW, has come under severe criticism due to its lengthy runtime of three hours.

In this day and age, it is very hard to keep the audience invested for a long time and this is something that the WWE is learning the hard way as the length of RAW is one of the biggest reasons why the show has been going through a huge dip in TV Ratings.

NXT is yet to give in to the temptation of increasing their runtime and have been able to keep their events as short and sweet as special as possible. This ensures that fans don't get fatigued and bored by the product as it is the case with main roster programming.
