#4 They were getting stale as a tag team

The Bar faced almost every tag team on RAW and SmackDown

The Bar came together when former WWE RAW GM Mick Foley rewarded them with a shot at the RAW Tag Team title after their 3-3 tie in the seven-match series. They've come a long way since then, becoming five-time tag team champions (4 RAW Tag Team titles and 1 SmackDown Tag Team title), and putting on great matches, consistently.

But, The Bar, who have been heels throughout their run as a tag team, were getting a little stale as a tag team. While it would be harsh to blame them for becoming a little boring on SmackDown Live as WWE have neglected the tag team division, something had to be done to revive both Superstars' careers.

Both Sheamus and Cesaro are immensely talented in the ring and they still have a lot to offer as singles Superstars!
