5 Reasons why the Fiend must defeat Goldberg at Super Showdown

I would hope for a different person to dethrone The Fiend rather than Goldberg or Roman Reigns, but Reigns is going to win a major title some time soon. There have been rumors and reports of him squaring off with Wyatt for the title at WrestleMania 36.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the Big Dog. He's been conveniently kept out of the title picture since his return to action last year before 'Mania. Reigns has also been battling one of the most hated men in WWE, King Corbin, for what seems like forever.

A title win at Super Showdown would probably mean that Goldberg would drop the title at WrestleMania again, only this time to a likely opponent in Reigns. Wyatt and Reigns have a long history that could be played upon during the build to a potential program for WrestleMania.

Remember the whole "Anyone but you, Roman" catchphrase? The Big Dog has also consistently put on good showings weekly despite some PPV contests going on a bit too long.

There's already one part-time Champion in WWE, Brock Lesnar, and SmackDown doesn't need one of its own. Reigns has been out of the title picture for over a year so it's not crazy to put him back in it within the next few months.
