It often so happens that the WWE Universe gets worked into a shoot. It is easy to forget that WWE is essentially a television product with good and bad guys, because of how much one gets invested into a product.
Vince McMahon is essentially a corrupt boss, who's set in his ways and does not care about what the fans want is the narrative of this TV show. And this is why he pushes his own set of favorites whether it is Kevin Owens or Charlotte Flair into spots that should not be theirs.
Charlotte is a spoiled brat who gets opportunities and she also capitalizes on them and makes the best of them, is the narrative. All of this is scripted by a room of writers led by Vince McMahon.
WWE is a roller coaster of emotions, spearheaded by the boss.
