See if this sounds familiar: a superstar, authority figure or multiple superstars oppose the tyrannical reign of Stephanie McMahon. They complain and complain until eventually, courtesy of her links alongside husband Triple H, they are buried six feet under and put straight back down into the mid-card.

This whole ‘Angle texting storyline’ is clearly leading towards a Stephanie McMahon return, which would move things indirectly towards a Mick Foley 2.0 storyline. Of course, Foley wasn’t able to compete in an actual match, but he did manage to get physical and have a big blow off to the feud.

If they’re going to do this match, they need to mix things up because it’s just too predictable.
