It is one thing to have a good match. It is entirely a different thing to book it without anyone looking weak. In today's main event, no single participant looked weak. Even the early eliminations of Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy could be attributed to the fact that they were unaware of the positions of some of their opponents.
Samoa Joe was focusing on Kofi Kingston while he was attacked out of nowhere by AJ Styles. Jeff Hardy did an innovative Swanton Bomb and had no time to recover before Daniel Bryan rushed him with a knee. Styles and Orton had an elimination each to their name. Daniel Bryan was the ironman of the match.
Kofi Kingston was the MVP of the match. The entire match revolved around his resiliency, and the WWE Universe responded with "This is awesome" chants. When The New Day member kicked out of the running knee, the entire place erupted in joy. Although Kingston lost the match, he won the hearts of everyone in the WWE Universe.
