#4. Ease resentment from fans

Let's not beat around the bush.

The WWE Universe is pretty upset with the different aspects of the current state of the product, especially with Goldberg defeating The Fiend to win the Universal title. While the company has done everything in its power to remedy these issues, it just keeps working against them. Now, this isn't WWE's fault, but the ongoing global pandemic is making it pretty much impossible to host a viable show.

With that being said and fans still upset about everything the product is lacking, maybe the company should take some time off and let The WWE Universe's wounds heal a bit. Not only will that give WWE a chance to come up with a new plan and find ways to improve the product, but it will also create demand among the fans again.

While some might think this will just cause wrestling fans to go watch something else, that might not matter as much as you think. In fact, WWE has such a solid hardcore fanbase that they could go off the air for months and will still have people coming back. For those that don't however, they'll still secretly watch to see what the company is doing.
