#1. Create demand.

WWE needs to find a way to reinvest fans in the product and one way to do that could be to create demand again. Now, that's not going to be easy, especially with some fans being unhappy with how things are currently going, but taking a break for a while could go a long way in building up some kind of demand for wrestling again. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
In all honesty, the WWE Universe needs some time to get over the disappointment of the last couple of months with The Fiend's defeat, and it will be easier to create demand again once that is accomplished. Furthermore, if the company waits long enough before coming back again, it could have fans absolutely bloodthirsty to see WWE again.
In the end, you can't miss what isn't gone and that's what WWE needs to keep in mind. They also need to keep in mind that all the fans just have an overall unhappiness with the product right now and they need time to process that. WWE meanwhile, can use that time to come up with solutions or just wait until the pandemic is over.
