#3 Finn Balor tapped out in a televised WWE match for the first time

Finn Balor tapped out to the Kimura Lock.

Finn Balor was one of the rare WWE superstars who never tapped out during their run with WWE. Balor had lost various televised matches by submission - but he never tapped out in those matches. Instead, Balor chose to pass out. For example, in the Fatal Five match at Extreme Rules 2017, Samoa Joe choked Balor with a Coquina Clutch, but Balor refused to tap out. Eventually, Joe was declared as the winner once Balor lost his consciousness.

However, at the 2019 edition of Royal Rumble, everything turned on its head. Brock Lesnar, who has not used his Kimura Lock to finish matches in a long time, used the same move to lock Finn Balor during the latter's pin attempt. Balor could not move an inch due to the apparent size difference and had no option other than to tap out.

Balor lost by submitting only three times in his entire WWE run - the most recent being his bout against Lesnar. Balor once tapped out against Samoa Joe in a Live event - but that was a house show and was not televised.
