Lana's release came as a massive shock to her, and she has since gone on to talk very openly about the circumstances that surrounded it, including detailing a text message she received from Vince McMahon.

Lana has indicated she wants to continue wrestling and the most likely course of action for her going forward, as everyone expects, is for her to join AEW and work alongside her husband Miro.

However, given that there are those backstage in WWE who have praised Lana since her release, such as backstage producer Tyson Kidd, there's a chance WWE might look to bring her back into the company.

If WWE is willing to bring back Eva Marie, who wasn't the most gifted wrestler, but knows how to play a role, has a dedicated following and can get heel heat, then there's no reason why they wouldn't do the same for Lana eventually. Plus, she'd be the best surprise entrant into the Women's Money in the Bank match because people really wouldn't expect it.
