Corey Graves and Pat McAfee have become two of WWE's best-known commentators in recent years and are both able to step into the ring if needed.
Whilst Graves was initially signed to WWE as a superstar, McAfee has proved that he has the athletic ability to make the switch if needed and has impressed WWE officials with his work on NXT.
It would be an interesting idea if the company decided to keep the brand split following WrestleMania. The RAW and SmackDown commentators could end up facing each other at this year's Survivor Series.

Now that Corey has been cleared to compete, he is able to step back in whenever needed, but he did note that he isn't going to rush into it. Survivor Series is still a few months away and would allow both stars to get into peak physical condition ahead of the bout.
WWE has been looking for a way to boost Survivor Series for several years and this could be one way of making the stakes a little higher.
